Claim routes for LEAP programmes will be confirmed before anyone commits. Only the AI at Work programmes can be claimed today.

Is your company eligible?

Your company can claim if

It is registered with HRD Corp and contributes levy.
It has enough levy balance for the course.
The grant is applied for, and approved, before the course starts.

You cannot claim if

Your company is not registered with HRD Corp.
Your levy balance is too low.
The course starts before the grant is approved.

AI at Work: six steps from quotation to claim.

Contact MAHA for a quotationTell us the programme, date and headcount. Within 1 business day you get the quotation and course documents.

Your HR applies for the grant in e-TRiS, at least 3 weeks before the courseChoose HRD Corp Claimable Courses, select MAHA (TP Reg. No. 202303013091) and attach our documents. Approval comes within 48 hours of a complete application.

Wait for the start windowThe course can start 14 days after approval (all in house, and public cohorts from 1 January 2027). Training before approval cannot be claimed.

Your team attendsWe record attendance every session and issue Certificates of Completion.

MAHA submits its claim documentsMAHA sends its invoice to HRD Corp with the attendance records, and gives your HR the completed JD/14 form.

Your HR submits the claimYour HR claims in e-TRiS within 6 months. HRD Corp pays MAHA from your levy. No upfront payment.

Training your whole team.

AI at Work in house

RM 10,500 per group

Up to 20 people at your premises, anywhere in Malaysia. Under 5 people are quoted separately, as HRD Corp prorates fees below 5 participants.

Timing for in house

Apply at least 3 weeks ahead. In house training can start 14 days after approval.

You can also send 1 to 9 people to a public cohort first.

Is there any upfront payment?

No, for AI at Work with an approved grant. HRD Corp pays MAHA from your levy. Companies not claiming pay before the course.

When must HR apply?

After MAHA confirms the cohort (4 weeks before), and at least 3 weeks before the course. Approval comes within 48 hours, and the course can start 14 days after.

Can one person join a public cohort and still claim?

Yes. Your company applies for a grant for that participant, provided it is approved in time.

Who submits the claim?

Both. MAHA submits first. Your HR then claims in e-TRiS within 6 months, using the JD/14 form we prepare.

Can we claim the LEAP programmes?

Not yet. Neither LEAP programme is registered with HRD Corp. We will confirm the claim route before anyone commits.

What if our grant is rejected?

The company then pays the cost. We check your documents first to reduce this risk. HRD Corp makes the final decision.
